Encrypted files are stamped with the level of identity used to create the protected file.  Available identities include biometric, x509 PKI certificates and a free username/password. 

Specify precisely who is authorized to gain access to encrypted files.  Flexible access controls can be defined based on the sensitivity of the information.  See screenshots for more detail.

Enterprise grade Accountability Reports offer detailed and customized reports for all activity associated with encrypted files, including unauthorized attempts.  With BIOWRAP there are no breaches, if someone is not authorized to view the information they will never be able to access it, wherever it may reside and however it may be delivered.     

Set an access life for your files.  Real-time controls allow you to change the lifespan of an active file, expire an active file (prevent future access), and also reactivate expired files.

Enterprise setup takes just minutes.  Administrators have access to a web-management console to instantlyadd or remove users.

Eliminate IT support for lost keys.  Recipients that do not meet the access requirements (or even if they lost the Security Code) can still gain immediate access to the encrypted file. This confidential real-time request is approved or rejected by the creator of the file.

BIOWRAP is an encryption key management service that does NOT store encrypted files, files to be encrypted, user passwords or even passwords to protect files.  Users retain absolute control and ownership of their data, BIOWRAP simply serves to improve the security, controls and transparency of the data. 

No longer is security a one-way.  Individual and business clients have access to a free lite version of BIOWRAP, allowing them to create and deliver protected sensitive information. 

Free reader software or online access is available so that anyone, provided they meet access requirements can open BIOWRAP encrypted files.

Files removed from the protection of BIOWRAP (only available to authorized individuals) can be taken to any of the free Reader’s to confirm that the file has not been altered.  A clear chain of custody for all access attempts is readily available in your detailed Accountability Report.

BIOWRAP is available as an application, online (https://mybiowrap.com), integration (web-service and DLL) and soon to be released mobile app.

 

The BIOWRAP file extension, .BMS (BIOWRAP Multi-layer Security), is recognized by all major file extension registries.  Individuals in receipt of a BIOWRAP encrypted file that do not already have access to the BIOWRAP Reader will be directed to a secure website (https://mybiowrap.com)  for registration and simplified access to the encrypted file.
