NEW Feature: File Retention

Control your sensitive information wherever it resides.

Setting an Expiration

When creating a BIOWRAP protected file you now have the option of setting an access life to the file.  The expiration can be set for a specific date and time or number days.  Once access to the file has expired it will no longer be accessible and you will be notified in real-time when individuals are attempting to access your expired files.  However, if needed you can always reactivate access to the file.

Retention Management

Real-time management functionality to expire a file (prevent any access), reactivate expired files and also change the life of the file.

Mitigation

With BIOWRAP you are instantly notified of all unauthorized activity in accordance with access rights management

To further mitigate unauthorized activity of your BIOWRAP files you have the option of expiring or eliminating all access to the compromised information.

At some point in our business careers most of us have unintentionally sent an email containing sensitive information to an unauthorized recipient.  Unless this common mistake is handled immediately the email containing the sensitive information is delivered and we have to hope that the recipient(s) abide by the disclaimer at the bottom of our email.  With BIOWRAP file retention you can now kill all access, in real-time, to sensitive information (file) attached to this mistakenly delivered email.

Privacy Protection

To protect your privacy and your electronic information, management of file retention settings can only be performed when biometrically logged in from the BIOWRAP Writer.
